Meet Dr. Jo Ann Wood, Au.D., F-AAA

Dr. Wood is a NYS licensed audiologist and hearing aid dispenser. She is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She obtained her Master’s Degree at Hofstra University and her Doctorate Degree at the University of Florida. Dr. Wood is dedicated to helping patients with all their hearing healthcare needs. She loves being in private practice in order to give her patients the respect and time they deserve.

Dr. Wood is married and a proud mother of three. Her youngest child was born deaf which is why she pursed the field of audiology. Dr. Wood is also an adjunct professor at St. Josephs College in Patchogue, where she teaches Aural Rehabilitation. She enjoys teaching and passing on her passion for the field to future clinicians.
